Rock royalty returns to the subcontinent, a historic milestone for north-east India
Legendary American rock band Guns N’ Roses will return to India for a two-city tour this November. The iconic hard rock group will perform in Bengaluru on November 14 at the NICE Grounds, followed by a historic, first-ever concert in Northeast India at the Khanapara Veterinary Ground in Guwahati on November 17.
Following their critically acclaimed and massive three-hour stadium performance in Mumbai in May 2025, frontman Axl Rose, legendary guitarist Slash, and bassist Duff McKagan are bringing their monumental 2026 World Tour back to India. The highly anticipated concerts are produced and promoted by BookMyShow Live, marking the band’s third overall outing in the country, following their 2012 debut and their 2025 return.
While Bengaluru’s status as India’s premier rock destination is well-established, the highlight of the 2026 itinerary is the band’s debut in Guwahati, Assam. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma officially announced the event, praising the inclusion of the city in the global touring circuit.
Building on the monumental success of international performances in the region, the Guns N’ Roses concert is expected to draw fans from across the country, further positioning Northeast India as a burgeoning hub for massive, global entertainment events.
